I'd like to talk about a discussion we had with the JSF team. We want to promote using jMaki to build JSF components (in addition to what is available now and not as a replacement).
Ed Burns did write up a page with requirements that he'd like to see added to jMaki. Please see http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Projects/jMakiJSF
In addition, I'd like to talk about jMaki and the html only solution. That is creating a snippet and tool support for adding jMaki to an html page so no server side support.
If we have time I'd like to talk about what else needs to be done forthe release 1.8
