JFrets is the desktop tool for teaching and tab building. Highlights include:

  • A visual representation of a fretboard. Click on any area to show the note selected.
  • A chord selector that will show the fingering positions for the selected chord.
  • Audio output of the selected chord or note.
  • A tab builder screen to create and save songs in guitar tablature format.
  • A song builder by note name and song part.
  • A tutorial of exercises for guitar.
