Rob is Director of Software Engineering at Mercury Interactive where he leads the development of Mercury's CAM initiative. Formerly, He was Director of J2EE Development at Oracle Corporation where he lead the development of Oracle's J2EE application server, OC4J^?. Prior, he has held senior engineering management positions at several startups and has led engineering teams at Netscape and Sun Microsystems where he was involved in the creation of the Java 2 Enterprise Technologies (J2EE). Rob holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science and engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Rob was a former member of the java.net Fairness Board.
