Hello and welcome to java.net!
I am the java.net Site Manager. If you have ever left a message for the feedback alias or one of the discussion forums in the java-net project, chances are we've chatted before. I hope you've been enjoying java.net. There's lots of stuff here - lots of good information, and really wonderful projects that you can get involved with! I love being part of the java.net community. It is a fun, vibrant place to be, with lots of really interesting people hanging around.
We may have also met if you are part of the Jini or JXTA communities. I am the Sun Grid Community Manager so you may occasionally run into me there too!

- Examples at developer.network.com - In the new Sun Grid Community, Fay Salwen has developed a very cool project to get developers started with a simple credit card application. It also is very well-designed from a project standpoint, so if you are looking for ideas on what you can do with your project space, take a look at this project.
- java-net - Come on in and check out the java.net start-up tools. Start your own thread in the discussion forums, if you have ideas or questions you'd like to kick around. We're there to chat with you!
- KIDS is really cool ! It is an excellent cause, and an excellent project design.
