Guillermo Castro has been a Java developer since 1997. He started to become interested in computers since he was 8 years old and assisted a Logo programming summer camp.

Guillermo's career has included programming both front ends and backends. He worked with beta versions of Swing to create a custom Look & Feel for an embedded device running j2se. He has also worked extensively on J2EE web applications.

He enjoys programming, reading, writing and is the webmaster and poster of JavaGeek.org

Guillermo lives in Monterrey Mexico, and he is currently working for HEB.
