Bala is the Chief Architect for m0rph.com and has over 17 years of software development experience - a large part of it in Java/J2EE technologies. He usually undertakes consulting assignments for Fortune 20 companies although he develops and contributes open source software and tools. His site has more details in regards to this.

Most of Bala's recent projects are focused on Web Services using Java/J2EE for legacy system connectivity, B2B, B2C, E-commerce, ERP and EAI. He has worked with a wide variety of programming languages, application servers, operating systems and databases. As a Java Architect, he tends to employ a variety of OO and J2EE Design Patterns and pursues this as one of his ongoing interests. He has built quite a few OO frameworks (in Java & C++) for various vertical markets and industry domains, which are being used by his corporate clients to this day.
