Name: Arun Gupta
Bio: Arun Gupta is a Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems and work in JAX-RPC development team. In his current role, Arun is working on the standards implementation of Java APIs for XML-based
RPC 2.0 that is developed under JCP as JSR 224. He is the co-spec-lead for JSR 261, Java APIs for XML-based Web Services Addressing. He also represents Sun in the WS-I Sample Applications Working Group and has implemented WS-I Sample Application using Java Web Services Developer Pack. He has been with the (JAX-RPC) group since its inception and has been a significant
contributor in evolving the technology.
Arun holds BS Electronics from Delhi University, India and MS Computers from Delhi University, India. Arun has presented at previous JavaOne conferences and has filed four patents related to XML technology.
