Portlet Container 2.0 Beta 2(Implementation of JSR 286 Proposed Final Draft)

Overview

The Java Portlet Specification, 2.0 (JSR 286) adds new features like events, public render parameters, resource serving, and portlet filtering.

Portlet Container 2.0 Beta 2 provides a preview of these new features and also other features as defined in the JSR 286 Proposed Final Draft.

The Portlet Container 2.0 Beta 2 has been released.

Check this article that describes the new features of JSR 286 as defined in the public draft. The samples contained in the article refer to the Public Draft. As there has been some changes in the spec since then, the samples in the article will not work with Portlet Container 2.0 Beta2. The samples that work with Proposed Final draft is mentioned below.
