Getting PC Player software
One of the essential tools for BD-J development is a PC software player for BD disc images. Generally,
you'll want a developer version of one of these players, so that you can have access to debugging
information, such as System.out.println(). It might not even be possible to play
a disc image from the hard disk with the non-developer version of some or all of the players.
The following software player makers have
kindly permitted us to list contact information for requests to access to the developer versions of these
players.
Corel - WinDVD
Corel WinDVD supports remote debugging functionality in its
"reference player" implementation. The reference player is
supplied under NDA to qualified studio and authoring house
partners.
