The SAAJ Standard Implementation Project

The SAAJ Standard Implementation project at Java.Net delivers a production-quality implementation of the SAAJ APIs. This implementation is also the Reference Implementation for the specification.

Deployments and Platforms

The SAAJ Standard Implementation currently has the following platform requirements

1. Sun's JDK/JRE 1.4 + Sun's JAXP 1.3 Implementation (Placed in jre/lib/endorsed)

OR

2. Sun's JDK /JRE 1.5 or Later release.

AND

3. The SAAJ RI also has a dependency on JavaBeans^? Activation Framework (http://java.sun.com/beans/glasgow/jaf.html)
