NeutralPointOfView

An encyclopedia article works best when it has a Neutral Point of View (NPOV). Even technical topics enjoy debate, but articles in the Javapedia should strive to present a description or definition that represents what is rather than what one particular side would want us to believe. At its best, a Javapedia article should be something that all sides can agree upon. Of course, in some cases this is not possible—and in that case one should try to present what the various parties believe. Writing from the neutral point of view is not easy. The Wikipedia has done a good job of describing the neutral point of view and has several exemplary articles. Please take a look at their description of NPOV (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view).
