Planetation is a system for building Java(TM) games based on maps. These maps can be in isometric or normal (square grids) mode. There are many pieces to the enitre system including the Map Editor, World Server, Universe Server, Ping Server, Administration Tools, etc.

Planetation can be used to build standard games (non-online) and online multiplayer games.

Sprites, menus, fonts, mutiplayer servers, tilemaps, map editors, custom windowing, fullscreen, windowed.
