- The co-founders of the project will choose the winner from among the top five entries.
Purpose
We are looking for a new logo design which is easily identifiable, and can be used in the following manner:
- Our Website. We need a strong brand that conveys the character of the ROME project.
- Promotional Materials. We need a strong identity to promote ROME in open-source forums, user conventions, and the like.
- Documentation. We need to brand formal ROME print and electronic documentation clearly.
- User Support. We need to provide our users with cool badges, chicklets, and logos to tell the world they are ROME-powered.
- Swag. You know you want a cool T-shirt with the ROME logo. And so do we.
Prize
- Credit on the ROME website for the logo
- A T-shirt displaying your creation
- A swag-bag filled with choice goodies from the 2005 JavaOne Conference in June
- The sweetest reward of all: Bragging Rights.
