The new proposd categorization looks good and reasonable - at least, more reasonable than the old one. However, it does not seem to be integrated yet -- Alex Schunk

The Products topic seemed to need the most help as it had way too many articles listed directly under it. I just cleaned it up to have the following categories: Applications, FrameworksAndLibraries, Consultants, and Books. Does that seem reasonable? Of course now Applications needs to be organized better! Anyone want to take a stab at good categories for Technology & Practice? -- RonGoldman

I just thought that this Wiky is about Java Programming and Java Programming technologies. Instead this looks to me like a tiny encyclopedia of more or less general IT topics. Where are the real Java related pages??? Guess I have to write them wink -- Alex Schunk

Now the challenge is to figure out what the next level down categories should be under those topics.

JavapediaCataloging

The initial way to categorize the Javapedia that we came up with are the 4 topics:

  • Technology
  • Practice
  • People, Companies, Organizations
  • Products
Now the challenge is to figure out what the next level down categories should be under those topics. The Products topic seems to need the most help right now as it has too many articles listed directly under it.

Below please suggest ways to better organize Javapedia articles.
