Dedicated to running down the wrong corridor of the maze, or accidentally eating the wrong piece of cheese, Puppy Games persistently does everything wrong and often at right angles to Sun. Which is good, because it keeps everyone on their toes, because the end result is going to be mad games. And that can't be bad.

Age of Storms, Meridian

Equinoxe has been committed to supporting Java since its inception. Though it will pursue other applications based in Java that are not games, its roots started in the development of a massively-multiplayer online role-playing game. This game was licensed from Black Dragon Press and closely models the original Collectible Card Game known as "Dragon Storm." Age of Storms has its own website.

Out of "Age of Storms" comes Meridian, a Java-based gaming library. This library is still under development, and though licensing still has not been decided, Equinoxe is actively investigating terms that will both protect the investment in the library as well as address open-source capabilities. Meridian is a Java library that aims to allow developers to create 2D/2.5D based games with ease. It features classes for images, sound, and persistance, and both client and server based issues are addressed. Meridian is suited for the creation of both standalone and online-based games, with particular emphasis on RPGs.

Both products will be available soon from Equinoxe.

It is sometimes difficult to tell who is working on which project. Its also hard to know which name matches up with a nickname in the forum. So if all the Sun people at least could fill in the section below we would have a nice index of names, nicknames and jobs.
